Over the year, the University of Lincoln hosts several recruitment events including Open Days, Offer Holder Days, and Informal Visit Days to give prospective students a taste of what it is like to study and live at Lincoln.

Show flat apartments allow visitors to view occupied rooms and communal spaces in University-managed accommodation and ask questions to students currently living in the residence. These apartments are typically located on the ground floor for easy access.

By registering your interest, you are informing Accommodation Services that you would be happy to live in a ground floor show flat apartment, committing to working recruitment events across the year and showing your bedroom.

Most events are held on a Saturday or Sunday, with approximately 12 events throughout the year, and you would only need to be present on the day if your room is being viewed. A typical event is around 6 and a half hours, starting at 8.30am and finishing around 3pm.

Everyone in the apartment will receive a lunch voucher to redeem at the event, and students whose rooms are being viewed will be paid a standard Student Ambassador salary. Currently the hourly rate is £12.79.

A good level of hygiene and tidiness is expected, and we would request that communal spaces are presentable, surfaces clean, and bins emptied on the morning of the event.
