Postgraduate St Marks rent offer for 44-week contracts commencing September 2024. 

This document outlines the conditions for the 10% discount offered to all new and returning Postgraduate students who book an en-suite room in St Marks for September 2024. 

When Is It Available? 

It is available for all new and continuing full-time UK Home and International fee-paying students enrolling on University of Lincoln postgraduate taught programmes for the 2024/25 academic year. The offer is only applied to St Marks accommodation, where a 44-week contract, starting on 15th September 2024 must be booked. 

Offer Amount 

Recipients of the 10% discount will pay the following discounted fee for a 44-week St Marks tenancy, receiving a 10% discount on the total annual cost: 

  • St Marks annual fee £7,365.50 
  • St Marks weekly fee £167.50 

The amounts listed above are inclusive of the 10% discount and include utility bills, possessions insurance, and Wi-Fi. As well as access to the University gym, located in the Sports Centre for the full accommodation contract length. 

This is a limited offer, and students will be located together in dedicated postgraduate accommodation apartments, providing a scholarly environment for the Master’s year as well as a supportive community of fellow postgraduates. 


Students studying a Postgraduate degree can apply for University-managed accommodation via the Booking Portal, once they have officially accepted the course offer. 

Students must log into the Booking Portal using their eight-digit Student ID number and apply for two accommodation types in preference order. 

Students wanting the St Marks offer should make it their first choice, the discount will be automatically applied. 

An offer of a room will be sent within three working days. Students have five days to accept the room offer before it times out. 

This is a limited offer, based on first come first served. 

The 10% discount is applicable only to bookings that complete the full 44-week contract in the allocated postgraduate accommodation at St Marks. This offer has limited availability and may be withdrawn at any time as deemed necessary.

Sharing Requests 

Students can request to live with another student when accepting their offer on the Booking Portal. Both/all students should list the names and Student ID number of those they wish to live with. 

All students wishing to live together must hold an offer for the same accommodation. 

This request is not guaranteed, but every effort will be made, where possible, to allocate students together. 

Room allocation details will not be sent out until later in the academic year. 

Accommodation Contract 

We use an Accommodation Contract, also known as the ‘Accommodation Terms & Conditions’. This is signed by ticking a confirmation box in the Booking Portal and is a legally binding contract for the full period of the accommodation contract length. 

This means that unless there are exceptional grounds for the tenancy to be cancelled, you are liable for rent until the end of the contract, or until a replacement is found.
