Accommodation Applications
Returning students can apply for University-managed accommodation from Monday 4 November 2024, via the online booking portal.
Students will need their University of Lincoln Student ID number to log into the portal and apply for accommodation, selecting their top four choices in preference order.
Any applications completed (accommodation agreement signed) before November 29 will automatically receive the £500 cash back incentive, to be paid in two instalments once the new accommodation contract has started. Bookings completed between November 30 2024 and January 24 2025 will automatically receive the £300 cash back incentive, to be paid in two instalments.
Additional incentives of a free week of rent for a filled flat and £100 cash back for any referrals which lead to a complete booking are also available.
Terms and conditions apply for all live incentives for 2025/26.
Once an offer has been received, students have five working days to accept and sign the Accommodation Contract, via the booking portal, before the offer times out. The offer must be accepted in order to receive any of the above offers.
Accommodation Fees
Accommodation fees are set on an annual basis and can be viewed for the 2025/2026 period on the University website.
No deposit or down payment is needed to secure the accommodation and students have the choice of payment instalment options. There are also multiple contract lengths available, depending on the residence.
Cygnet Wharf is now available for returning students.
Cancellation Period
Details on the cancellation period can be found in the Accommodation Cancellation, Transfer, and Release Policy.
Accommodation Allocations
A number of rooms have been allocated for returning students across five accommodations.
Students will be allocated a room in an apartment with other returning students. At some sites the full house or block may be returning students.
Sharing Requests
Students can request to live with another student when accepting their offer on the booking portal. Both/all students should list the names and Student ID number of those they wish to live with. All students wishing to live together must hold an offer for the same accommodation.
This request is not guaranteed, but every effort will be made, where possible, to allocate students together.
Room allocation details will not be sent out until later in the academic year.
Accommodation Contract
We use an Accommodation Contract, also known as the ‘Accommodation Terms & Conditions’. This is signed by ticking a confirmation box in the Booking Portal and is a legally binding contract for the full period of the accommodation contract length.
This means that unless there are exceptional grounds for the tenancy to be cancelled, you are liable for rent until the end of the contract, or until a replacement is found.
