2025/2026 Entry
Step 1: Start an Accommodation Application
The Booking Portal will open for September 2025 on 25 November 2024. Once open, the following steps should be followed.
As a new Undergraduate, to apply for accommodation you need to have accepted your course offer, making the University either your firm choice on UCAS, allow up to 24 hours, or one working day before you wish to submit an application.
You will need your 8-digit University of Lincoln Student ID, which you will have received in your academic offer. It is also included in the email alert you will receive notifying you that applications for accommodation are open.
As a new Undergraduate student, you are guaranteed an offer of a room if you make an application before 1 August 2025.
Step 2: Choose Your Accommodation
Log in and select the ‘new application’ link in the top toolbar. You will then need to select the correct application type, course type, session, and pathway before you can browse the accommodation available.
Choose your favourite four options by clicking the ‘apply’ button beside your chosen development and then select the room type you would prefer. This allows us to see what other options you are interested in should your first choice be fully allocated due to demand.
The next page enables you to enter ‘further details’ where you can inform us of any special requirements. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to facilitate all requests.
If you believe you have additional requirements due to a disability or medical condition that will affect your accommodation allocation, please email accommodation@lincoln.ac.uk separately to your application.
Step 3: Review and Submit
Review and check your choices and preferences on the ‘application summary’ screen before clicking ‘submit.’ You will then be taken to another screen where you will need to accept our Terms and Conditions before you are able to submit your application. The next screen will then confirm that you have successfully submitted your application.
Step 4: What Happens Next?
If the University is your firm choice on UCAS, the Accommodation team will review your application and aim to respond with a room offer within five working days. You will be notified via email of your room offer and have five days to accept before it expires.
No deposit or downpayment is needed, so once you have accepted your offer you can sit back and relax!
If the University is your insurance choice, you will not be able to apply for accommodation u unless the University becomes your firm choice on Results Day.
Accessible Support
If you require either an accessible room or additional support in choosing a room, that best meets your needs, please let Accommodation Services (accommodation@lincoln.ac.uk) and Student Wellbeing (studentwellbeing@lincoln.ac.uk) know.
