To support more students to progress into Master’s level study, the University of Lincoln is offering an accommodation bursary to help cover living costs for postgraduate students.
The February 2022 to February 2023 bursary for Home and International postgraduate taught students will cover 50% of the annual rent in a new range of apartments dedicated to postgraduate students in the St Marks Student Village, Gateway, and 179 High Street.
When Is It Available?
It is available for new full-time Home and International fee paying students enrolling on University of Lincoln postgraduate taught programmes starting in February 2022.
Recipients of the bursary will pay the following fees for a 51-week tenancy, receiving a 50% discount on the total annual cost:
- St Marks Student Village Ensuite: £3,508.80
- 179 High Street Ensuite: £3,712.80
- The Gateway Ensuite: £3,508.80
- The Gateway Studio: £3,941.28
This includes all utility bills, possessions insurance, and Wi-Fi, and represents a 50% bursary towards the full annual rent.
Students will be located together in dedicated postgraduate accommodation apartments, providing a scholarly environment for the Master’s year as well as a supportive community of fellow postgraduates.
How to Apply
The bursary will be applied automatically to all eligible postgraduate students who accept their course offer and accept an offer of a tenancy at one of the participating accommodations by midnight on Thursday 20 January 2022. A £49 down payment will be required to secure the room.
